International Journal of Theology, Religion and Society (IJTRS)
About the Journal
The International Journal of Theology, Religion and Society (IJTRS) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to critical and constructive engagement with theology, religion, and their intersections with society, culture, and public life. Recognizing Africa as a major center of contemporary religious thought and practice, the journal provides a platform for rigorous theological reflection that speaks to lived realities, ethical challenges, and social transformation. IJTRS welcomes contributions that examine religious beliefs, institutions, and practices within historical, cultural, and contemporary contexts, while engaging global theological debates. The journal values interdisciplinary dialogue across theology, philosophy, sociology, politics, and ethics.
Theologians, religious scholars, clergy, postgraduate researchers, and practitioners are invited to submit original research and reflective studies that deepen understanding of religion’s role in shaping societies and public discourse worldwide.
