Terms of Use
1. Introduction
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern the access to and use of Greenresearch, including its website, services, and content (collectively, “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you (“User,” “Author,” or “Reviewer”) agree to comply with these Terms. Greenresearch is operated by TES Digital Service Limited, Nigeria, and provides a structured, credible academic publishing environment for researchers globally.
2. Eligibility
You may use Greenresearch if you:
- Are 20 years of age or older, or have the legal capacity to enter a contract in your jurisdiction.
- Agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.
- Are submitting original work or acting in a legitimate capacity as a reviewer or reader.
3. User Obligations
Users agree to:
- Submit only original and authentic manuscripts.
- Ensure manuscripts meet all submission guidelines, including formatting, referencing, and ethical requirements.
- Disclose any use of AI tools in manuscript preparation.
- Respect the confidentiality of peer review processes.
- Provide accurate and complete author or reviewer information.
- Comply with all Greenresearch policies, including Privacy Policy, AI Policy, and Publication Guidelines.
Violation of these obligations may result in:
- Rejection of submission
- Suspension or termination of access
- Legal action, if necessary
4. Manuscript Submission and Review
4.1 Submission Requirements
- Manuscripts must follow the Greenresearch standardized structure.
- Submission implies compliance with ethical, legal, and academic standards.
- Manuscripts are screened for plagiarism, formatting compliance, and originality.
4.2 Editorial and Peer Review
- Manuscripts are reviewed using the 14-point acceptance framework.
- Decisions include: Accepted, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Rejected.
- Authors may be asked to revise manuscripts to meet acceptance criteria.
4.3 Non-Guarantee of Acceptance
- Payment of the Article Processing Charge (APC) does not guarantee acceptance.
- All manuscripts must meet Greenresearch standards, regardless of payment.
5. Payment Terms and Article Processing Charges
5.1 APC Structure
- Standard APC: NGN40,000 or $27 per manuscript.
- Premium journals: NGN75,000 or $50.
5.2 Non-Refund Policy
Payments made are non-refundable, including in cases of rejection.
Rejection grounds include:
- Lack of academic contribution
- Poor manuscript structure or unclear research focus
- Ethical violations (plagiarism, data fabrication, authorship misrepresentation)
- Failure to comply with revision requirements
- Non-adherence to submission guidelines
This policy is justified because resources, including reviewer effort and editorial time, are expended for every submission.
5.3 Payment Methods
- Payments must be made through Greenresearch-approved channels.
- Manuscripts will not proceed to review until APC is confirmed.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
6.1 Ownership
Authors retain copyright of their manuscripts.
By submitting, authors grant Greenresearch a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- Publish and distribute the manuscript
- Index in search engines and academic databases
- Promote the work on Greenresearch and associated channels
6.2 Responsibility
- Authors are responsible for all content submitted, including accuracy and originality.
- Greenresearch is not liable for disputes arising from authorship or intellectual property conflicts.
7. AI Usage Policy
- AI may be used for language enhancement, formatting, and idea structuring.
- AI must not replace original intellectual contribution.
- Misuse of AI that undermines originality may result in manuscript rejection.
8. Earning from Publications
- Premium downloads allow authors to earn revenue.
- Revenue distribution is clearly defined in the platform’s Earning Policy.
- Greenresearch reserves the right to manage payments and access to protect platform integrity.
9. User Conduct
Users must not:
- Submit offensive, defamatory, or unlawful content
- Engage in plagiarism or academic misconduct
- Circumvent platform restrictions or security
- Use the platform for commercial or unauthorized purposes
Violation may result in:
- Immediate suspension
- Permanent ban from Greenresearch
- Legal consequences
10. Limitation of Liability
Greenresearch, its affiliates, and staff are not liable for:
- Loss or damage arising from use of the Platform
- Misinterpretation or misuse of published content
- Delays in publication or technical failures
11. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold Greenresearch harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, or damages arising from:
- Submission of unlawful or plagiarized content
- Violation of these Terms
- Misuse of Platform services
12. Termination
Greenresearch reserves the right to:
- Terminate access for non-compliance
- Remove content that violates policies
- Suspend or ban users engaging in unethical behavior
13. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes arising from use of the Platform or these Terms will be resolved under Nigerian law.
- Parties will attempt amicable resolution before legal action.
- Courts in Abuja, Nigeria have exclusive jurisdiction.
14. Amendments
- Greenresearch may update these Terms at any time.
- Users will be notified via the Platform
- Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms
15. Acceptance of Terms
By using Greenresearch, authors and users confirm that they have:
- Read and understood these Terms
- Agreed to comply with all obligations
- Acknowledged the non-refundable nature of payments for rejected manuscripts
